At 839 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Tulia to near Hale Center to near Spade to 8 miles southeast of Pep to 6 miles east of Bledsoe, moving southeast at 30 mph. At 830 pm, the West Texas Mesonet station at Morton reported a wind gust to 58 mph and the station at Olton reported a wind gust to 59 mph at 835 pm.
