    The University of Connecticut tops a list of colleges reporting the most rapes - and campus officials and victims' advocates say that's because more people are telling authorities about sex assaults. With 43 rapes in 2014, UConn tied for first place with Brown University in Rhode Island for reporting the most rapes, according to the analysis, which was culled from federal campus safety data reviewed by The Washington Post .

    The Bridgeport City Council gave final approval Monday to a settlement establishing new terms for its neighboring town's use of the city's sewer system and one of its two sewage treatment plants. The 10-year deal immediately reduces the 13.5 percent discount Trumbull residents had enjoyed to 8 percent, then reduces that discount 1 percent annually afterward.
