    Troopers from the accident reconstruction squad responded to the one-car crash that happened around 2 a.m. A 2010 Ford Taurus, which had been stolen from Reservoir Road in Trumbull over the weekend and had been pursued by Hamden police, veered onto a local property on Quinnipiac Avenue, crashed into a tree and then landed in the southbound lane of the road, according to the accident report. The driver - a 24-year-old West Haven man - and his passenger, Jarelle Marquise Gibbs, 26, of New Haven, were taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said.
