    Drivers on Interstate 787 spied Troy police officers and the State Police searching the area along the southbound lanes of the interstate Friday afternoon for a baseball bat used in a double homicide in 2014, according to police sources with knowledge of the investigation. The search comes days after Daniel Reuter testified in Rensselaer County Court about his role in beating Allen and Marie Lockrow to death in their First Avenue home on Aug. 20, 2014.
