The committee has been searching for a new ambulance administrator since the departure of Adam Hammitt, who left in March to take a job closer to his home in Troy, Ill. Meanwhile, Mark Mountain, who serves as the county's zoning administrator and has served previously on the public safety committee when he was on the county board, has been filling in on an interim basis.
