    TROUT VALLEY – The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a boat crash on the Fox River on Friday as 67-year-old Joseph Serritella. Lake County Chief Deputy Coroner Orlando Portillo said the autopsy was conducted Friday on the Port Barrington man.

    A 67-year-old Port Barrington man whose boat crashed into a pier on the Fox River last week has died, officials said Monday. The man, whose name has not yet been released, was thrown into the water about 3 p.m. Friday after his boat hit a concrete pier and post bow-first in Trout Valley, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's office.

    A man was critically injured Friday afternoon when his boat crashed into a dock on the Fox River in Trout Valley, officials said. The man, whose age and name have not yet been released, was unconscious when he was pulled out of the water by an off-duty Mount Prospect firefighter/paramedic who lives nearby, according to a news release from the Cary Fire Protection District.
