    The director of a pair of movies filmed in the Traer and Clutier areas in Tama County pleaded guilty on Tuesday, March 7, to charges of simple assault and dissemination of obscene material in Mitchell County District Court in Osage, Iowa. Scott Robert Thompson, 55, identified by the Osage Police Department as the owner and operator of My Town Pictures, a Mondovi, Wisc.-based independent film company, was orignally charged with assault to commit sexual abuse and the dissemination count when arrested on Oct. 30, 2106.
