    The Toledo City Council spent much of their regular meeting on Monday, July 24, discussing the move from the current offices held at the Toledo Community Building to their future home in the offices at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center at 1007 South Prospect Dr. The council had previously voted at a meeting on June 26, after months of discussions and some opposition, to sell the Community Building to the Wieting Theatre Opera House Company for one dollar. Council members Steve Vesely, Brian Sokol, Travis Mullen, Joe Boll and Terry Goodhart voted in favor of the sale.

In a plea agreement, Filloon admitted that while serving as the Tama Police Chief from July 2013 through August 2015, he stole and sold three guns and four vehicles, that were in police impound, from the Tama Police Department for his own personal benefit.
