The graduate transfer is looking for other schools, and will be taking an official visit to Central Michigan on Feb. 2. Besides his upcoming visit to Mount Pleasant, Adesayna also has a visit set for Memphis on Jan. 20. He has received interest from CMU, Memphis, Connecticut, Arizona State, Toledo, Iowa State, Washington State and Maryland. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive lineman was limited to seven games over three seasons due to injuries with the Fighting Illini.

    A passenger, identified as Rebecca Kathleen Rosen, 21, rural Clutier, and a three-month-old child were taken by Tama ambulance to UnityPoint Health, Marshalltown, to be checked following a collision of the vehicle they were passengers in with a milk transport truck. Tama Police investigated the mishap at U.S. Highway 63 at the stoplight for the westbound entrance ramp to the U.S. 30 Expressway which occurred at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall was busy investigating another crash on U.S. Highway 63 at West Ohio street at the time.

    The Iowa Department of Natural Resources Forestry - Fire Program, in cooperation with US Forest Service - State and Private Forestry, has awarded $224,799 in 50 percent cost-share grants to 92 of Iowa's rural fire departments to aid their efforts in protecting Iowan's and their property from wildfires. The grants offer valuable funding assistance for wildfire suppression equipment, personal protective equipment, and communications equipment.
