    State police on Monday arrested two Monroe County men suspected of robbing the Delaware Truck Stop that morning on Route 46 in Knowlton Township, Warren County, N.J. Richard Keith Ludwig, 27, of Stroudsburg, and Melvin Kenneth Merkel, 36, of Tobyhanna, were arrested in East Stroudsburg in connection with the robbery reported at 2:17 a.m. A truck stop employee said two men in hooded sweatshirts entered the store, pointed a gun wrapped in a plastic shopping bag at him and took a total of $200, according to New Jersey state police. New Jersey police obtained the suspects' physical and vehicle descriptions and license plate number and alerted Pennsylvania state police, who spotted the suspect vehicle on Interstate 80 West.
