According to GSP Trooper John Freeman, the 7 p.m. accident occurred when Brando Kitchens, 18, of Warrenton, driving a Ford F150 truck east on Stagecoach Road, failed to stop at the stop sign at Washington Road.

    The Thomson Police Department is seeking a woman and two men in connection with shots being fired shots on a city street on Monday, April 13. One of the men is wanted by the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office for the armed robbery of a man in the Doolie Hill area on Saturday, April 11. Several shots were fired on Third St., near the intersection of Pitts St., in Thomson, on Monday afternoon. For the shooting, Thomson Police Chief John Seay said that warrants have been issued for the arrest of Latesha Saffo, a black female, Demontrey Johnson, a black male, and Demontreal Butler, a black male.
