    The Thompson's Station Board of Mayor and Aldermen passed a new zoning plan Tuesday night for approximately 2,000 acres of land in the northwestern portion of the town, which had previously been annexed into the town from the unincorporated county in November. The zoning would allow the possibility of a residential development to be built in separate hamlets, containing 10 to 60 acres each and incorporating 60 percent of open space within each hamlet.
