    Authorities say a western Indiana couple failed to provide adequate nutrition and follow-up medical care for their disabled 5-year-old daughter who died last year. The Terre Haute Tribune-Star reports 36-year-old Brian Moseman and 33-year-old Tiffany Daugherty were arrested Tuesday on charges including neglect of a dependent resulting in death.

    A western Indiana judge has rejected a man's plea agreement in a one-vehicle crash that killed his three teenage passengers in 2015. Vermillion Circuit Court Judge Bruce Stengel notified prosecutors and attorneys for 20-year-old Ethan N. Lee on Thursday that he would not accept the plea deal the Cayuga man entered last month.

    Police announced two bodies found Tuesday just outside of Delphi were those of two teenage girls who were reported missing Monday. The bodies of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, were found around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in the woods about 50 feet from Deer Creek.

Duke Energy Indiana says it reluctantly canceled the Cayuga Generating Station's "Eagle Viewing Day" that had been set for Jan. 28. The utility says the plant's workers were busy this fall with maintenance projects and didn't have time to put public safety plans in place for the viewing event.
