    Though the Walcott family's Old Homestead Shop only sold antiques for a few years in the 1970s, its unique appeal drew the attention of the national television show "American Pickers" this past spring. Titled "Planes, Frames and Automobiles," Kevin and Mike Walcott's episode of the History Channel series will air tonight at 9 p.m. The show, which follows two antique buyers -- Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz -- in their cross-country hunt for collectibles, was shot at one of the Walcott's properties on West Ratilff Road over 12 hours on a Saturday in April.

    Tuesday morning, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers stopped a blue 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier at Sixth and Crawford Streets in Terre Haute after someone in the vehicle threw a cigarette out the window and the officer noticed a faulty brake light. During the traffic stop, troopers discovered approximately 2.5 grams of suspected meth, approximately 3 grams of marijuana, syringes, and assorted drug paraphernalia inside a bag in the vehicle.

    Friday evening at 7:06, Indiana State Police and other emergency agencies responded to the 9500 block of North Rangeline Place in New Goshen after a child on a bicycle rode into the path of a pickup truck. Preliminary investigation revealed a 1994 Chevrolet pickup, driven by 17-year-old Gabriel Dreher of rural West Terre Haute, was northbound on Rangeline Place, when 9-year-old Noah Hoopingarner of 9500 North Rangeline Place, rode his bicycle westbound across Rangeline Place into the path of Dreher's vehicle.

    Vigo County court documents show a Registered Nurse was arrested at the end of April for sexual misconduct with a minor. Court documents show Cori Atkinson, 36, was arrested on April 29 after officials had good cause to believe she committed sexual misconduct with a minor on or around the date of March 22. Officials were told by Atkinson's husband that she is a Registered Nurse who works 'delivering babies.'

According to an Indiana State Police investigation revealed a maroon 2003 Pontiac, driven by 19-year-old Jasmine Wesley of Paris, Illinois was eastbound on Durkees Ferry Road at SR 63. Wesley attempted to cross the northbound lanes of SR 63 and struck a red 2004 Pontiac, driven by 19-year-old Timothy J. Terry of Clinton, in the driver's side.
