The nearly four-minute-long video from the group Compassion Over Killing appears to show workers inside a chickenhouse at a farm, which was identified by the group as being in Temperanceville, Virginia.

    Ten employees of a chicken farm in Virginia affiliated with the nation's largest poultry producer were fired Tuesday after an animal rights group released graphic video that appeared to depict workers beating chickens to death. The video from Compassion Over Killing, a Washington-based animal rights advocacy group, appeared to show workers stabbing, crushing and stomping on chicks at a Tyson Food contractor in Temperanceville, Va.

    A Temperanceville, Virginia man was arrested Saturday after he dropped a bag filled with cocaine and Oxycodone at a chicken barbecue in Salisbury, according to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. A deputy responded to a report on July 15 at 9:30 a.m. that a customer at the chicken barbecue had dropped a bag full of pills and a white, powdery substance.

Police said 41-year-old Hubert C. Herring of Temperanceville, VA dropped drugs in the parking lot that were later identified as oxycodone and cocaine.
