    A Schuylkill County judge revoked the parole of a Tamaqua man charged with reckless endangerment in the death of his infant son last year. Joseph E. Kuhla, 23, had pleaded guilty on Dec. 10, 2014, to recklessly endangering another person and was sentenced by Schuylkill County Judge Charles J. Miller to 15 days to 12 months in jail.

It was shortly after midnight when an officer on patrol saw a man walking along the highway, headed toward Tamaqua. The man was acting as if someone was chasing him, said he thought something or someone was in the woods, but noted he would be fine when the officer stopped to make sure everything was all right.

Tamaqua police were called by an emergency room physician at St. Luke's Miners Hospital in Coaldale at 12:45 a.m. The doctor wanted to talk about a female patient who had substantial head and facial injuries.

Welfel, 23, of Tamaqua, has been using his brother's name when being arrested. State Constable David Kneller thought he took Codie into custody on Nov. 16, at 101 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, on an outstanding arrest warrant.
