    Law enforcement officers have arrested six residents on drug-related charges since Tuesday, according to the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force. Tuesday, in a joint investigation with several police departments and the ALEA Marijuana Eradication Team, three suspects were found throughout the county.

    By now you have seen the horrible story out of Elmore County where investigators say a man shot and killed his wife and shot three of his four daughters, killing one, then set the house on fire before killing himself. Just last month there was a domestic-related shooting outside the Walmart in Tallassee where three people died.

    According to Alex City Police Deputy Chief Easterwood, the crash happened around 7:45 a.m. on Highway 280 at the intersection of Alabama Highway 63. A 2010 Ford F-150 and a Honda Accord were both heading Westbound when the crash happened. The Alexander City Outlook says Sneed worked for the news organization as an executive editor, overseeing the news operations for the Tallapoosa Publishers family of newspapers including the Alex City Outlook, the Wetumpka Herald, the Dadeville Record, the Tallassee Tribune and Eclectic Observer.
