Blair Noelle Bryant, 27, of Salt Creek Road, had her initial court appearance Friday before Talladega County District Judge Jeb Fannin, who set bond at $30,000.

Wansley, 28, was on his motorcycle when he was involved in a wreck with another vehicle, driven by Michael Gene Johnson, 62, of Sylacauga.

    In a bid to reduce the chances of wildfire and to make the forest more hospitable for the red cockadded woodpecker, U.S. Forest Service crews are burning nearly 2,000 acres of the Talladega National Forest southeast of Rabbittown today. The fiery prescription will scorch 1,949 wooded acres just west of the Coleman Lake recreation area and about four miles southeast of Rabbittown, according to Scott Layfield, fire management officer with the Shoal Creek and Talladega districts of the national forest.
