    According to WTVR News on Monday, March 28, the Virginia General Assembly passed a resolution to honor former CBS 6 anchor Stephanie Rochon who died from cancer at the age of 50. The resolution passed through the House and Senate to pay tribute to Rochon who started working at WTVR CBS 6 in 1999. She spent most of the time anchoring the news at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. until her sickness that resulted in her death on June 3, 2015.
