Michaelis, an obstetrician-gynecologist who had a 1991 conviction in Lucas County Common Pleas Court for attempting to molest four teenage girls, pleaded guilty March 3 to one count each of receipt/a distribution of material involving the sexual exploitation of a child and possession/a access with intent to view material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.

    Sister Mary Dale, a longtime educator in northwest Ohio schools who came from a family of teachers and was one four siblings who became Sisters of Notre Dame, died Friday in Regency Hospital, Sylvania at age 75. She was in failing health but worked in the library and tutored at St. Joseph School in Erie until the spring, Sister Mary Patricia Snyder said. She would have turned 76 on Saturday.
