    SWANSEA - The long planned work on the Pearse Road culvert is beginning this week with preparation and will close the road beginning Oct. 16. The Kenefick Corp. of Quincy, which was praised for the work they did on the Swansea Dam, completing on time and on budget, was the low bidder for the $450,000 culvert work. Director of Highway Services and Engineering Alan Corvi, noted that he expected temporary lane closures this week and full closure beginning on Monday.
