    The Alameda County Coroner's Office has identified a woman who was one of two people who died following a three-car crash Sunday on Highway 84 in Sunol. Jun Du, 27 of San Jose, was a passenger in a 2001 BMW 530i driven by her husband, 27-year-old Yu Jian Sun, who also perished in the crash, a coroner's spokesman said Friday.

    Q What can cities do to quiet down rampant motorcycle noise? I mean the super-loud machines that suddenly crank up somewhere in the neighborhood at 1 a.m., 2 a.m., 3 a.m. and then roam through the streets of San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, etc., waking people up? The Bay Area at times is a constant drone of super-loud motorcycles coming and going on the freeways. I live 3 miles from Interstate 80, yet I can sometimes hear a motorcycle from more than 10 miles away approaching my area.
