    State Senator Cale Case of Lander has rejected claims that he did not maintain decorum during a Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Committee session in Sundance on Nov. 20. A bill the committee reviewed at that meeting drew a large number of people opposed to the legislation, and at one time, a speaker made a personal attack on the primary sponsor of the bill, Rep. Cathy Connolly, D-Laramie, and others made what was referred to as demeaning and anti-gay comments. The bill would've updated references in state statutes from heterosexual husband and wife references to gender neutral terms, such as "spouse" and "married couple" to more accurately reflect reality of the times.
