A Microsoft X-Box, a video game and the resident's driver's license with a total value of $450 were reported stolen from an Aubrey Street residence as a result of a burglary that took place sometime between 1 and 4:14 p.m. on April 14. A ladder valued at $400 was reported stolen from a Hughes Place residence sometime between March 5 and March 9.

    SUMMIT - On Tuesday, a group of retired teachers from Washington Elementary School in Summit stopped by Reeves Reed Arboretum to check out the daffodils just before the arboretum's official Daffodil Day. The teachers, Cindy Hedin, former Principal Carol Friend, Carol Groote, Lea Solecki, Marian Sansone, Natalie Cassidy and Judy Kane said they had lunch at Marco Polo's, where they ran into a former student at the school, then stopped at the arboretum to check out the daffodils and other spring-blooming flowers and trees.
