Altogether, the votes Tuesday night from the three counties showed 8,153 votes to retain the current strong-council form and 6,084 votes to change to a strong-mayor form.

    Dorchester County residents might be asked to pay higher stormwater bills after council unanimously approved first reading of an ordinance to restore countywide fees to the 2009 level.
