    SUGAR GROVE – Two pedestrians were injured in a traffic trash early Sunday at Route 47 and Jericho Road near Sugar Grove, according to a news release from the Kane County Sheriff's Office. David Anderson, 43, of Bristol and Curtis Lippold, 26, of Aurora had left a gas station and were attempting to cross Route 47 to get to the west side of the road about 12:25 a.m. in Sugar Grove Township when they were struck by a car traveling south on Route 47, the release stated.

    SUGAR GROVE – A 44-year-old Kane County Department of Transportation worker died the morning of May 19 while filling in a pothole just north of Lasher Road in Blackberry Township near Sugar Grove, according to a news release from the Kane County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's deputies were called to a traffic crash about 10:40 a.m., where Steven W. Chidester of Cortland had exited driving a Ford F350 truck that was pulling a commercial asphalt trailer and was working to fill in a pothole.
