Tyler of the Virginia State Police said emergency crews responded to the southbound lanes near mile marker 243 at about 1:30 p.m. He said a 2006 Isuzu box truck was traveling south in the right lane when it crossed into the left lane and struck and 2017 Freightliner tractor-trailer. Both southbound and northbound lanes were briefly closed as crews uprighted the box truck.
