Playing in the championship flight for the first time, Grimbalis, a 16-year-old who lives in Strafford, birdied the first hole of his playoff with Griffin Chenard of Breakfast Hill GC in the Round of 16, hitting an approach to 6 feet on the downhill playoff hole.
