Julianna Sweeney , 19, of the Stewartsville area, and her band will be in town for what she calls the One-Stop Tour concert , which Sweeney started last year as a senior project.

Kwinton will have his associate degree one month before graduating from Phillipsburg High School.( The 17-year-old from the Stewartsville area will be among the 250-plus students in Saturday's commencement at Warren County Community College , where he has been acquiring college credit through a dual-enrollment program since he was 15, according to a news release from the college.

    A 14-year-old is facing several charges after bringing a defaced semiautomatic handgun on Monday to Stewartsville Middle School, the Warren County prosecutor and Greenwich Township police report. The boy is no longer in school and is charged in the juvenile justice system with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, possession of a weapon on school property, possession of a handgun, possession of a prohibited weapon and harassment, Prosecutor Richard Burke said late Thursday morning.

    Students at Stewartsville Middle School on Wednesday attended grade-level assemblies to remind them what to do if someone brings a gun to school and they learn about it. Because on Monday, someone brought a gun to school, several students saw it and others heard about it, Greenwich Township School District Superintendent Maria Eppolite said in a letter on Tuesday to parents.
