    A state senator says he'll send a letter today asking for the resignation of Barbara Brohl as executive director of the Colorado Department of Revenue after a Colorado Supreme Court decision last month paved the way for millions of dollars in tax credits to be paid to oil and gas companies, credits the DOR had denied in past years. Sen. Jerry Sonnenberg, R-Sterling, voiced his displeasure with Brohl and the DOR in a tweet over the weekend: "Another reason why heads should roll at Dept of Revenue - @hickforco Colorado Loses Supreme Court Case" The issue comes from the Colorado high court's decision in late April in favor of BP America Production Co., which claims millions of dollars in tax credits going back to 2003 and 2004.
