According to a press release issued by the LCSO, Elvis G. Fausnaught Jr., 37, was taken into custody without incident in the 1100 Block of West Main Street on Wednesday.

    The Sterling City Council has agreed to tackle the nearly 30-year-old intergovernmental agreement with Logan County at a work session May 29. Logan County Commissioner Byron Pelton approached the council Tuesday night with a request to resume joint work sessions any time a fifth Tuesday falls in a month. Pelton said part of his motivation was to address public perception that the two governmental bodies don't work well together.
