    Three passengers were injured early Thursday morning when a Sterling man left the roadway at the intersection of northbound Logan County Road 53 and Highway 61. Kelly McDonald, 20, is facing charges for careless driving causing injury and failure to observe a traffic control device stemming from the Toyota sedan he was operating skidding past a stop sign and through the intersection and striking a barbed wire fence before coming to a rest at about 12:43 a.m., according to a Colorado State Patrol report. A male and female passenger, ages 19 and 20, complained of minor injury, while a 19-year-old male passenger also complained of injury.
