    PA Safe Access, a non-profit organization dedicated to medical cannabis lobbying and education in Pennsylvania, will hold a medical marijuana information session from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the State College Municipal Building from 6-8 p.m. The presentation will provide information on the specifics of the Pennsylvania medicinal program, including how to register with the Department of Health, how to find a doctor, how to acquire your medical marijuana card, and when and where the medicine will be available in the state. "We have an office in Huntingdon and we found that we had a lot of people from State College who wanted an information session.

    A bill introduced by state Rep. Scott Conklin, D-Rush Township, would create an oversight commission and guidelines for congressional redistricting in Pennsylvania. Conklin said in a release that an amendment to the Pennsylvania Election Code would establish a Congressional Redistricting Commission each year after the 10-year census, with the commission required to adhere to redistricting principles created by state and federal law and court precedents.
