Acting on a recommendation from the Mifflin County Parks and Recreation Council, the commissioners approved $45,783.35 in Act 13 funds to go toward several projects in the planning stages, including: According to County Planning Director Bill Gomes, Act 13 funding is a result of the county's annual allotment of Marcellus Shale funding.
