    MIDDLE PAXTON TOWNSHIP -A 78-year-old Harrisburg woman was bilked out of $2,000 after she was contacted by someone posing as her grandson who said he needed money following an auto accident, according to state police reports. The woman was led to believe her grandson was involved in a car accident in State College and that the other driver, who was from Panama, would drop the charges if she paid for the damage, state troopers said.

The case centers on false and defamatory statements made in the "Freeh Report," which was commissioned by Penn State University's Board of Trustees in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
