    A case of norovirus was confirmed at Bonneville Academy in Tooele County just a few days after 600 students in Utah County stayed home following a warning from officials of a possible outbreak of the virus in local schools. Bonneville Academy school officials sent a letter to parents and staff at the Stansbury Park public charter school Monday after the virus was confirmed, according to an emailed statement from the school.

The Tooele Valley Mosquito Abatement District was recently informed by the Utah State Public Health Laboratory of three mosquito pools testing positive, a post on the district's Facebook page said.
