The programs, which started today, will run on every other Saturday and will include hands-on history events, including original music provided by the Long Hill String Band and narrated boat rides on the historic Morris Canal.

    MANCHESTER - A Manchester man convicted in 2003 of promoting child prostitution was arrested Tuesday on charges he was trading child pornography by email from his vast collection of images, authorities said. Lawrence Fascia, 63, was arrested after a search of his Drake Road home revealed thousands of graphic images of children engaged in sex acts with adults, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

Gregg Murphy was convicted this past November of first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree possession of a weapon in connection with the murder of Mariann Ferreira on Dec. 2012.

    NEWTON - The cousin of a Stanhope handyman accused of stabbing a woman to death said he once came home to the California apartment they shared to find all the curtains open, the faucets going, the burners lit and Gregg Murphy sitting at the living room table, tapping a foot-long butcher's knife , the New Jersey Herald reported. Lawrence Murphy told his cousin he couldn't stay with him anymore, and the two have hardly spoken in the 30 years since.
