    The St. Francisville Board of Aldermen declared the replacement of the Burnett Road Bridge an emergency, an action town officials hope will expedite the federal approval process necessary for work to begin on the bridge. Mayor Billy D'Aquilla said he hopes the move will push the Army Corps of Engineers to more quickly process the approval of the new bridge design, which includes two reinforced concrete culverts that will be overlaid with asphalt.
