    Acting Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Vanita Gupta and U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota Andrew M. Luger today announced a settlement agreement in principle between the Department of Justice and the City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota, resolving allegations that the city violated the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act of 2000 . In June 2012, the City of St. Anthony Village denied Abu-Huraira Islamic Center's application for a conditional use permit to use the basement of the St. Anthony Business Center for religious assembly.
