    East Palestine Fire Chief Josh Brown said that Eric Jones Jr., called 911 after he woke up to the sound of a smoke detector and went upstairs from his basement bedroom to see a fire burning in the living room that was spreading. The 25-year-old Jones Jr. lives with his parents, Eric Jones and Leigh Ann Jones, at the home at 110 Vine St. and was in the basement at the time, Brown said.
