Gao, 60, of Springfield, were arrested following an investigation by several agencies including the Westfield Police Department, according to a release from the Union County Prosecutor's Office. They were also charged with promoting prostitution in a school zone and Liu was charged with money laundering, the release stated.

Bogdan Viorel Rusu, who lived in Queens, New York, pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in Springfield, Massachusetts to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, the U.S. Attorney's Office there said in a statement.

    A Bergen County couple has been charged with murder after their four-month-old son died in a Burlington County motel room while they smoked cigarettes outside.
