    Waste Management Inc., the environmental services firm based in Houston, has acquired the commercial, residential and industrial waste collection assets of Illini Disposal, a waste hauler located in Springfield, Illinois. The deal was completed Dec. 1. Lisa Disbrow, a spokeswoman for Waste Management, says that customers will not see any change in service with the acquisition other than the company changing its name from Illini Disposal to Waste Management.
