    Police say someone scrawled profanities on the garage door of an officer's home early Thursday in Whitestown, 20 miles northwest of Indianapolis, as well as on marked police vehicles from the Whitestown, Westfield, Lebanon and Speedway departments. Police vehicles were left with slashed tires and at least one vehicle window was broken.

    The prosecutor's office wants the public's help tracking down the man they say skimmed the office's city credit card, then racked up thousands of dollars in charges on it. Authorities aren't sure where the card was skimmed, but do know it happened on Dec. 6. Starting Dec. 7, the man used a cloned card to buy thousands of dollars in merchandise from Speedway Gas Stations, O'Reilleys Auto Parts and several other businesses in Marion County.
