    Spartanburg Coroner Rusty Clevenger announced Thursday that a Spartanburg motorcycle officer passed away after suffering severe injuries in a collision with another vehicle on Tuesday night. The collision occurred on Union Street around 9:45 p.m. Troopers said Spartanburg Police Officer Jason Gregory Harris was traveling east on Union Street on a 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle when it struck a 2004 Ford turning onto a private driveway.
