    Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful held its 25th annual Christmas Tree Recycling program this year and results are in! 9,550 Christmas trees were recycled thanks to the help of 530 volunteers, including families, businesses and community groups. Trees were chipped in to mulch and at some sites, turned into a treats for goats! Goat Grazers partnered with KTMB this year to help keep trees out of the landfill.

    Prosecutors are urging Nevada's Supreme Court to reconsider its recent reversal of a murder and conspiracy conviction in a casino shootout between rival biker gangs that left one dead and three others wounded more than four years ago. Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks says the justices who ordered a new trial last month didn't place enough weight on casino surveillance video that he said shows a conspiracy to assassinate a Hells Angels' leader.

    The Washoe County District Attorney's Office says a man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for being a habitual criminal, stemming from three recent burglary convictions. Prosecutors say 34-year-old Curtis James Tomlinson of Washoe County pleaded guilty to burglary in November 2015 for his role in burglarizing several Reno and Sparks businesses two months earlier.
