Mayhew made one of two technical foul free throws with 0.65 seconds left in regulation, sending the game to overtime tied at 82. South Plains overcame a six-point deficit in the last 49 seconds of regulation, taking an 82-81 lead when guard Jerron Love hit a short baseline jumper in the final second.
