    South Lake Tahoe police are still looking for a suspect in an alleged drive-by shooting just before midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 14, near Ski Run Boulevard and U.S. Highway 50. The shooting was initially reported to have happened around midnight on Thursday, Oct. 15. According to South Lake Tahoe Police Department, a 19-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was shot in the leg at 11:57 p.m. on Oct. 14. The man later showed up at Barton Memorial Hospital for treatment, and medical staff notified the police. The department reported in a news release that the victim's condition was unknown as of Friday, Oct. 16, but his injuries don't appear to be life-threatening.

    Authorities have identified the two San Francisco Bay Area people who were killed when a single-engine plane crashed next to a house that caught fire on the south end of Lake Tahoe. The Lake Tahoe News reports the owner and pilot of the Beech 35 Bonanza was 73-year-old Conrad Yu of Oakley.

    A small plane crashed around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, in a South Lake Tahoe neighborhood near Pioneer Trail and the Lake Tahoe Airport. Officials on scene reported two fatalities.
