    A Huntington Station man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said his vehicle collided with another car in South Huntington on Friday night. According to authorities, Mariano Campos, 20, was operating a Nissan Pathfinder when he collided with a Nissan Altima on Pidgeon Hill Road near Greenhills Road at 10:25 p.m. Huntington Manor firefighters responded to the crash and used the "Jaws of Life" rescue tool to remove the driver's side doors and B-post to free the person trapped inside the Altima.

Mariano Campus, of 139 Fourth Ave., was traveling northbound on Pidgeon Hill Road at about 10:25 p.m. when his 1999 Nissan Pathfinder sideswiped a southbound 2008 Nissan Altima.
