Both men worked at LAX airport , when according to an affidavit, a detective with the Los Angeles Airport Police, working with anti-narcotics trafficking task force at LAX, seized a kilogram of cocaine in Preciado's possession on December 16, 2015 in the restroom in Terminal 3 at LAX, where he was delivering cocaine to a courier, a man identified as "J.C.," who was holding a boarding pass to travel on a Jet-Blue flight to New York an hour later.
