    Lawmakers asked about the cost of moving several state agencies, mostly associated with the Department of Commerce, into a newly-renovated Building 3. All told, the state Division of Tourism, the Division of Labor, Workforce West Virginia, the Division of Personnel and the state Development Office, are paying $1,188,823 more in annual rent in Building 3. And, combined, they purchased $3,089,861 in office furniture for their move. Commerce Secretary Woody Thrasher acknowledged the expense and said he'd inherited the decisions that went into the new offices in the building.
